Sri Mayapur Community Hospital
From its humble beginning as a day care facility in 1983, today Sri Mayapur Community Hospital stands as one of the significant contributor to rural health care in Nadia district. Poised to grow into full-fledged medical institution offering a a whole range of charitable services, the project is set to revolutionise rural health care in this whole region.

To deliver world-class health care services at an affordable cost for everyone offering wholesome treatment to the Body & Soul.
Mission:
To achieve the above, we will:
- Create world-class treatment facilities in gradual phases and continuously upgrade them to provide quality services.
- Seek necessary certification from regulatory bodies confirming adherence to professional high standards.
- Practice ethical and evidence-based medical treatments to deliver the best results in the interest of the patients.
- Treat every patient with the same high level of care and attention irrespective of their caste, creed, religion or economic status.
- Shun profiteering practices and strive to deliver the best care in the most efficient and cost-effective manner.
- Create opportunities for professional improvement & career growth of all our Team Members by offering continuous opportunities for training, education and up-skilling themselves.
- Build teaching institutions to ingrain our missionary spirit among the students to ensure the continuity of our mission and values to future generations.
About SMDF & ISKCON
Started in New York in 1966 by our Founder Acarya His Divine Grace A.C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada, today it has grown into a social and religious organisation of global stature. ISKCON in India was established in 1972 as a charitable society with its Head office in Mumbai. Since then ISKCON India has become one of the leading charities in the country promoting peace and harmony, health care, education, tribal care and many other activities. Sridham Mayapur Development Foundation is a Section 8 charitable company wholly owned by ISKCON. By a decree of the West Bengal government, SMDF has been authorised to develop a mega spiritual tourism project – “Sri Chaitanya Cultural World Heritage Centre”. HH Jayapataka Swami is an extraordinary missionary who inspires lakhs of followers from all walks of life. Known for his keen intellect and deep spiritual understanding despite his challenging body condition, he remains our main inspiration and drive behind the project. You can know more about him here.
Brajavilas Das
Co-Director
Director of Sridham Mayapur Development Foundation – the charitable company owning the hospital. He is an alumnus of IIT-Chennai with more than 20 years of professional experience in India and the US. He is now dedicated to missionary life. He also represents the other Co-directors – HG Hrdaya Caitanya das, HG Tapan Misra das & HG Subekshana das.
Harilila Das
Head of Healthcare development
As the head of healthcare development, he is tasked with developing the various phases of the project. He is a Mechanical Engineer with 20 years of project management experience in India and the Middle East. He serves under the Co-directors of Mayapur.
Dr Santosh Kumar Roy
(Sukhi Acyuta Das)
Medical Superintendent
A medical Graduate from Patna Medical College and MD from the prestigious JIPMER Pondicherry, he is completely dedicated to bringing the vision of the institution to reality.
Dr Soumik Debnath
(Davantri Das)
Clinical Administrator
He is an MD from Russia. Coming from a local family of Doctors, he has won the trust of the local villagers and the international residents of Mayapur.
